Namchun said to an assembly, “Mind is not the Buddha, and wisdom is not the true-Self.”
Student: “I have learned that mind is the Buddha, and wisdom is the true-Self since I became a monk. Why did Namchun say the opposite?”
Master: “Because you heard the opposite.”
Commentary:
The Buddha always says only the same words.
